Well-Rounded: A patient and doctor friendly medical record
I focused on the ability to easily consume information for both the patient and doctor. The first page is the summary section of the record, followed by a more detailed look into some of the sections. Instilling the idea of colors and icons creates a code to understand information. With more use, the colors and icons can become second nature for both patients and doctors as it can immediately signal where important information is and what it means.
Circles create a more visual representation of the most important data. As medical records move to a more mobile and web friendly environment, circles can be used as buttons. When a patient taps or clicks on the button, more detail of the selected topic can be provided, such as the definition of "anaphylactic shock".
