This design, which I am calling the "2012-esque Medical Record" uses vivid, associative, and intelligent color patterns and imagery to convey data quickly and accurately. Combined with large, clean sans-serif font faces, the design is sure to be easy on the eyes for older people or people with otherwise equivalent eyesight faults, and able to be interpreted by non-native English or illiterate audiences.

The design is optimized for print on letter sized paper, but is also plausible for web design, and is scalable, leaving plenty of room for long words, sentences, or section expansion, i.e. should a patient be taking 50 medications, or have had several lab tests.
