The whole premise of my redesign submission is based on what’s defined as Skeuomorphism which is a good thing. It’s part of what made Apple what it is today — interface elements presented as real-world references to things we instantly understand. Things like documents, folders, trash cans, calculator and in the medical world a binder.

A binder is something we all grew up with, an age old concept of keeping important pages together and organized in an efficient and easy-to-understand manner. My approach recognizes the need to quickly display content in a friendly, casual manner and in some cases make decisions easier where someone’s life, or at the very least ‘well-being’, are impacted.
