imso EMR
Built with function and utiity in mind, imso EMR delivers key components of a health record to both provider and patient without compromise on either behalf. Today, most EMR programs hinder productivity, efficancy, and transparency of information to its users. The programs tend to be tedious for providers and the records have proven ineffective in educating patients about their health. A research study performed by our team in Phoenix, AZ evaluated the efficacy of EMR in an emergency room setting by measuring time spent by physicians with an EMR platform versus the time spent with the patients themselves.
The results were staggering- showing that the providers spent twice as much time with the computer than with the patients; with most of them mentioning that they had to review the records outside of their working hours. We concluded the obvious, “None of the systems enable the critical elements of a Medical Record: ease of access, use, and transferability.” Based on these findings, we sought out to create a record of health that would make information readily available for providers while also making that information comprehensible for patients.
