No More Eyesore

It’s obvious that the typical medical report is an eyesore. In any situation, but especially in the event of an unexpected diagnosis, information should be presented clearly for easy comprehension.

My proposed design makes use of organization, color coding, and icons. However, simply clarifying the categories is not enough. Often, encounters give way to a diagnosis; and sometimes, encounters turn into a procedure which in turn solves a problem.

While information is organized in separate groups, how they link together gives a more complete picture of a patient’s medical history. My proposed design addresses the problem by showing how items are linked together chronologically. Usage of a timeline overview with solid information design and sound typography means no more eyesore.
